There was an excellent entry for the HSBC One Day Event held at Oatlands, Santon (kind permission of Mr & Mrs D Shacklock) on Sunday 18th September. Due to the torrential rain in the previous days there were concerns over the ground being water logged however these proved to be unfounded as the cross country course rode well with very few mishaps. Unfortunately the higher classes were not as well supported as usual but numbers were high in the juniors where there proved to be some very promising young riders and horses. Jo Bridson from HSBC presented the lovely prizes - sash, embroidered polo shirt and baseball cap for 1st prize and baseball cap for second, and beautiful rosettes to sixth place. HSBC also very kindly presented T shirts to all competitors and committee.
